# Remove Automations
> Delete an Automation from the Automations list, or from the Funnel, Form, Offer, Course, or Campaign it is attached to.
**Automations** can be removed from your Kajabi Dashboard, but where you remove them depends on which Automations experience your account is using.
* **The upgraded Automations experience** removes every Automation from one place, the **Automations** list.
* **The original Automations experience** removes each Automation from wherever it was added, such as a Funnel, Form, or Course Lesson.

**Warning:** Deleting an Automation is permanent and cannot be undone on either experience.
## Remove an Automation in the upgraded Automations experience
Every Automation is removed from the **Automations** list, no matter which Funnel, Form, or Course it is attached to.
1. Open the **Marketing** tab from your dashboard.
2. Select **Automations**.
3. Click the more options (...) menu on the Automation you want to remove.
4. Click **Delete**.
5. In **Delete automation?**, select **Yes, I would like to delete this automation**.
6. Click **Delete**.
The **Delete** button stays unavailable until you select the confirmation checkbox. Deleting a published Automation stops it first, so no Contact continues through it.
**Note:** On the upgraded experience, the **Automations** section inside a Course Lesson, Quiz, Form, Event, Offer, or Email Broadcast lists the Automations that use it, but does not remove them. Use the **Automations** list instead.
## Remove an Automation in the original Automations experience
Each Automation is removed from the place it was added. Every one of these ends with the same confirmation prompt.
### Remove an Automation from the Automations Dashboard
The **Automations Dashboard** is located under the **Marketing** tab.
1. Open the **Marketing** tab from your dashboard.
2. Select **Automations**.
3. Click **Edit** next to the Automation you would like to remove.
4. Click **Delete**.
5. Select **OK** when asked if you are sure you want to delete this Automation rule.
### Remove an Automation from a Funnel
1. Open the **Marketing** tab from your dashboard.
2. Select **Funnels**.
3. Click on the **Funnel** that contains your Automation.
4. From your Funnel template, locate and select the **Automation** you would like to remove.
5. Click **Delete**.
6. Select **OK** when asked if you are sure you want to delete this Automation rule.
### Remove an Automation from an Email Campaign
1. Open the **Marketing** tab from your dashboard.
2. Select the title of your **Email Campaign**.
3. Follow the instructions below for your campaign type.
#### Email Sequence
Email Sequences may contain subscribe/unsubscribe triggers (Automations) or Automations on individual emails within the sequence.
To remove a subscribe/unsubscribe trigger:
1. Expand the subscribe or unsubscribe triggers section.
2. Click **Edit** next to the trigger you would like to remove.
3. Click **Delete**.
4. Select **OK** when asked if you are sure you want to delete this Automation rule.
To remove an Automation from an individual email within an Email Sequence:
1. Locate the email that contains the Automation you would like to remove.
2. Click **Edit** next to the Automation you would like to remove.
3. Click **Delete**.
4. Select **OK** when asked if you are sure you want to delete this Automation rule.
#### Email Broadcast
1. Navigate to the Content Editor for your Email Broadcast.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the **Automations** section.
3. Click **Edit** next to the Automation you would like to remove.
4. Click **Delete**.
5. Select **OK** when asked if you are sure you want to delete this Automation rule.
### Remove an Automation from a Course Lesson
1. Open the **Products** tab from your dashboard.
2. Select the **Courses** tab.
3. Click on the title of the **Course** that contains your Lesson.
4. Click on the title of the **Lesson** that contains your Automation.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the **Automations** section.
6. Click **Edit** next to the Automation you would like to remove.
7. Click **Delete**.
8. Select **OK** when asked if you are sure you want to delete this Automation rule.
### Remove an Automation from a Form
1. Open the **Marketing** tab from your dashboard.
2. Select **Forms**.
3. Click **Edit** next to the name of the Form that contains the Automation.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the **Automations** section.
5. Click **Edit** next to the Automation you would like to remove.
6. Click **Delete**.
7. Select **OK** when asked if you are sure you want to delete this Automation rule.
### Remove an Automation from an Event
1. Open the **Marketing** tab from your dashboard.
2. Select **Events**.
3. Click on the title of the **Event** that contains your Automation.
4. Locate the **Automations** section.
5. Click **Edit** next to the Automation you would like to remove.
6. Click **Delete**.
7. Select **OK** when asked if you are sure you want to delete this Automation rule.
### Remove an Automation from an Offer
1. Open the **Sales** tab from your dashboard.
2. Click on the title of the **Offer** that contains your Automation.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the **Automations** section.
4. Click **Edit** next to the Automation you would like to remove.
5. Click **Delete**.
6. Select **OK** when asked if you are sure you want to delete this Automation rule.
### Remove an Automation from a Quiz
1. Open the **Products** tab from your Dashboard.
2. Select **Courses**.
3. Click on the title of the **Course** that contains your Quiz.
4. Click to open your **Quiz**.
5. Select the **Settings** tab at the top of the Quiz editor.
6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the **Automations** section.
7. Click **Edit** next to the Automation you would like to remove.
8. Click **Delete**.
9. Select **OK** when asked if you are sure you want to delete this Automation rule.
### Remove an Automation from a Certificate of Completion
1. Open the **Products** tab from your Dashboard.
2. Select **Courses**.
3. Click on the title of the **Course** that contains your Certificate.
4. Select the **Certificates** tab at the top of the Course editor.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the **Automations** section.
6. Click **Edit** next to the Automation you would like to remove.
7. Click **Delete**.
8. Select **OK** when asked if you are sure you want to delete this Automation rule.
