# Use a CTA to lead to a section of a page

> Learn how to use a Call to Action to navigate users from one section of your page to another.

The Call to Action (CTA) can be used to navigate a user from one section of your page to another section of that same page. Learn how to use the **Go to a section on this page** with your CTA in Kajabi.

## Add a CTA linking to a section of your page

Use a Call to Action to lead your user from one section of your page to another section with the **Go to a section on this page** feature.

### To add your CTA

1. Open the **Website** tab from the Dashboard.
2. Select the Page you wish to edit in either **Website Pages** or **Landing Pages.**
3. Click **Customize**.
4. Select **Add Section**, click **[Call to Action](https://help.kajabi.com/articles/website/pages/add-a-basic-content-section-to-your-page#call-to-action)** to preview the section then click **Add** or click on any CTA button if you already have a section with buttons added.
5. Select the button to edit the settings of the CTA.
6. In the **Call to action** menu, select **Go to a section on this page** under Button action.

7. Choose the section you want to link to.

## **Linking a CTA button to a specific Text Block (anchor tag workaround)**

The "Go to a section on this page" CTA action only lists page *sections* in its dropdown — individual Text Blocks are not selectable. If you need a button to jump directly to a specific Text Block, use an HTML anchor tag:

**Step 1: Add an anchor to your destination Text Block**

1. Open **Website** → **Pages**, select your page, and click **Customize.**
2. Click into the Text Block you want to link to.
3. Click the `<>` (code view) icon in the Text Editor toolbar.
4. Insert this at the very start of the code, replacing `Section1` with your own name: `<a name="Section1"></a>`
5. Save.

**Step 2: Set your button to link to the anchor**

1. Select your CTA button and edit its action.
2. Choose the option to link to a URL (not "Go to a section on this page").
3. Enter your page URL with the anchor appended: `https://yourdomain.com/your-page#Section1`

**Step 3: Repeat for each destination** Give each Text Block its own unique anchor name and point each button to the matching URL.

  **Important:** Anchor names are case-sensitive. `<a name="Section1">` must be linked as `#Section1` — `#section1` will not work.
